The hotel's unique historical architecture sets it apart, providing an intimate ambiance with beautifully maintained gothic features. Each room offers imaginative thematic decor, creating a good experience that captures the essence of the building's history. I was especially impressed with the excellent breakfast buffet, which included a variety of freshly prepared items that exceeded my expectations!

i had a fantastic stay at martin's. the location was perfect for exploring nearby cities like brussels and bruges. the breakfast was amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options. a big shoutout to the staff for their great service, especially the kind reception team who made me feel welcome.

the parking fee was a bit higher than expected.

Room temperature control was troublesome, with air conditioning not functioning properly. The parking situation in a tight lot requires leaving keys with an attendant, which can be inconvenient. Also, no electric vehicle charger available.

Parking costs 25 euros daily, but our room was spacious and comfy.

staying at this unique hotel in an 18th century neo-gothic church was a delightful experience, especially since it's just a few steps from an amazing local eatery and less than a 5-minute walk from the grand-place where I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

The comfy King Room had a mini fridge and a kettle. We loved the spacious design and close city access.

My family stayed in a huge and quiet room that was even cooler since it was in an old church building. The decor was super interesting, and we loved having decent hanging space for our stuff. Plus, the large bathroom was well lit and had a magnifying mirror, which was really nice! Overall, it felt very spacious and clean, making it a comfortable place to unwind after exploring the city.

However, the standard rooms lack any reference to the church building, which is a letdown for those expecting a church-like atmosphere.

The unusual furnishings in my room really made the stay memorable, and I loved relaxing in the spa after a long day. I also appreciated the full body massage options available that helped me unwind even more. Just a heads up, one of the window shutters didn’t fully close, so the room was a bit brighter than I would have liked at night.
